Kristina Rodel Sorum is a sought-after Minneapolis-based Mezzo Soprano with a breadth of experience as a soloist and chorister.  Passionate about all forms of vocal music, she is equally at home performing as a soloist for timeless works such as Handel’s Messiah as she is premiering art song and opera so new that the ink hasn’t dried. Praised as “lovely” in the Minnesota Star Tribune for her performance as the alto soloist in J.S. Bach Cantata 147 with Bach Society of Minnesota, she lends a clear, approachable sound and a warm and inviting artistry to every performance.
